Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Battle of the Labyrinth
I just finished Labyrinth. It definitely had a book 4 feel. Not quite as readable as book 3 but foreshadowing events to come in the fifth and final installment.
Percy is on the cusp of adolescence. He is becoming a better/stronger fighter. He develops his power over water. His feelings toward Annabeth border on the romantic. But Percy continues to show his ignorance, misunderstanding Annabeth’s reaction to the introduction of a red-headed mortal who sees through the Mist – Rachel Elizabeth Dare. Rachel becomes essential to completing this years quest; navigate the Labyrinth to find Daedalus and convince him to help save the Camp Half-Blood from eminent invasion by Luke’s growing army.
We meet many new and interesting mythological characters in this one but sometimes it occasionally feelings like overload. It was great to have a mortal invovled (Rachel) and I hope to see more of her in the next book.

I finished The Battle of the Labyrinth and it was O.K. It wasn’t as good as The Lightning Thief or The Titan’s Curse, but the book is still good. I didn’t like the idea of a mortal involved in the story, but she was played a couple of important roles.
Other than that, the book was pretty much awesome!!!

I really liked the 5th book but the battle was totally rushed. But I really want to read the 5th book cause of the cliff hanger at the end. The book was AWSOME!! But I prefer the 1st book(The Lightning Thief).

i enjoyed this book but was a bit annoyed as there couldnt have been much adventure with the characters as they were stuck underground in the labyrinth the whole time the other books were more open to possibilties and ideas as they travelled to loads of different places…

omg!! i am reading it as i speak!
the series is one of the best that i have read so far. From the detailed battles to the loving moments between Percy and Annabeth. I love how the book is detailed and how it can make you feel as if you are actually there walking side by side with annabeth, percy, tyson, grover, and all the other characters. I recommend this book to all children AND adults how will love a good story and like fantasy.

I love this series so much. I started reading it last year. I’m so freaking excited for the fifth book, it’ll be hard to wait until May.
I’ve Read Battle of the Labyrinth about 4 times, Titan’s Curse 3 times, and Lightning Thief and The Sea of Monsters both Twice.
